MUNICIPAL ENGINEERING SERVICES REQUEST FOR
STATEMENT OF QUALIFICATIONS
The City of Yakima is inviting Statements of Qualifications (SOQ) from firms interested in providing professional engineering design and surveying (as needed) services for the following FHWA Highway Safety Improvement Program project: 2025 Nob Hill Boulevard Milling and Overlay Project from 28th to 40th Avenue. Improvements will include the milling and overlaying of this 5-lane roadway section. This work will also include ADA ramp improvements, sidewalk repair, curb and gutter repair, adjusting storm drainage, environmental documentation, etc. Surveying of the area has not occurred. The design for the 2025 Nob Hill Boulevard Milling and Overlay Project is intended to be designed in 2024-2025 and constructed in 2025. The city of Yakima reserves the right to retain the services of the successful firm(s) for any subsequent phases (R/W, CN) associated with this project.
SOQs shall be limited to ten (10) pages front and back and shall include the following information: key personnel, firm experience with PS&E projects, ability to meet schedule, familiarity with the City of Yakima and/or other similar municipalities, familiarity with City of Yakima and WSDOT/FHWA standards, experience with federally funded projects, past performance/references, in-house experience, DBE approach and commitment. Statement of Qualifications will be evaluated on a competitive basis using the above criteria.
