The State of Washington, Department of Health (DOH) has issued an RFQQ seeking the following services: The purpose of this solicitation is to identify a vendor that can provide health communication, education, engagement, and advertising services for multiple statewide social marketing campaigns under the Be Well, WA Initiative. This initiative will include campaigns that encourage healthy eating, active living, promote mental health and overall wellbeing with a broad Washington audience.

The goal of these social marketing campaigns is to protect, support and promote the health and wellbeing of Washingtonians through behavior change strategies. A successful campaign will give the people of Washington the education needed to seek out services, change lifestyles, and modify behaviors to contribute to better health and safety outcomes. 

Background:

As Washington moves into a new, post-pandemic phase, DOH has a unique opportunity to leverage increased attention and trust from the public to improve health and safety outcomes, close health equity gaps, and expand people’s trust in public health by engaging with the public through a wellness initiative. As a comprehensive wellness initiative, campaigns will utilize social marketing strategies to protect, support, and promote the health and safety of Washingtonians.
