RFQQ-DOH24-021C - Tribal Maternal, Child, Infant and Women’s Health Needs Assessment

The State of Washington, Department of Health (DOH) has issued an RFQQ seeking the following services: The State of Washington, Department of Health (hereafter referred to as “DOH”) is seeking qualified contractor(s) to support the collection and analysis of the needs of Tribes, Tribal Organizations, and Tribal community members related to maternal, infant, and child health, including the need for services and supports for Tribal families with children and youth with special health care needs.

Every five years, the Health Resources and Services Administration requires that Washington State conduct a statewide needs assessment that will be used to inform the State priorities and work plan of the Maternal and Child Health Block Grant. This needs assessment must gather data on the need for services and supports to pregnant persons and infants, children, and children and youth with special health care needs. It is critical that the state gather information on the need for such services and supports from the broadest possible spectrum of communities. This will help the state ensure that support and services are provided in an equitable manner across the state and particularly in historically marginalized communities.
