The city of Kahlotus is inviting you to submit a brief statement of qualifications to perform a facility condition assessment of the Kahlotus Civic Center including cost estimates of recommended improvements. For more information about the project, contact Dave Wooten at (509)282-3372 or Jessica Herron at (509) 948-5063 or cityofkahlotus@hotmail.com.

The City may select one or more firms for an interview based upon the following criteria:

1) Recent experience conducting facility condition assessments.

  1. Availability and capacity of the firm to accomplish the work in a timely manner.

3) Qualifications of personnel conducting the assessment.

4) Recent experience with state and federally funded projects.

5) Professional references.

If interested, please submit a statement of qualifications and any other relevant information, which further assists the selection committee in evaluating your firm, to:

City of Kahlotus

P.O. Box 100/130 E. Weston St.

Kahlotus, WA 99335

Qualification submittals should be limited to 10 pages (not including resumes and references). The deadline for submissions is 4:30 PM, August 27, 2018. The most highly rated firm may be selected for an interview and the eventual negotiation of a professional service contract.

The project is partially funded through the Washington State Community Development Block Grant program with federal funds provided by the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development. As a result, cost plus percentage of construction cost contracts will not be allowed and a number of state and federal equal opportunity and affirmative action requirements will apply to the selection process and conduct of the project.

The city of Kahlotus is an equal opportunity and affirmative action employer. Minority- and women-owned firms are encouraged to submit proposals.
