Sammamish Streetlight Enhancement Plan

Request for Qualifications

The City of Sammamish (City) Department of Public Works is seeking proposals from qualified firms to develop a Citywide Streetlight Enhancement Plan. The selected consultant will assess existing streetlight infrastructure, identify lighting gaps, develop prioritization criteria, and recommend infrastructure improvements, including conversion to Light-Emitting Diode (LED) and long-term maintenance strategies. The consultant will also assist with stakeholder coordination, policy recommendations, and updates to relevant public works standards.

Solicitation for this Request for Qualifications (RFQ) will be managed exclusively through Bidnet Direct. Vendors interested in viewing the RFQ, project plans, specifications, and/or submitting proposals must be registered in the Bidnet system. For registration instructions, please visit the City of Sammamish website (Projects Bidding | City of Sammamish).

All questions must be submitted through Bidnet no later than Wednesday, July 23, 2025.

Statement of Qualifications (SOQ) will be accepted through Bidnet until 4:00 PM PDT on Wednesday, July 30, 2025.

The City reserves the right to amend the terms of this RFQ, issue addenda, or withdraw the solicitation at any time, regardless of the time and effort expended by consultants in preparing their responses.

This RFQ will be published on July 2, 2025.
