Renton 2019 Sanitary Sewer Rehabilitation and Replacement Project

Including Survey, Geotechnical, and Civil Design

The City of Renton is soliciting statement of qualifications (SOQs) from engineering consulting firms for engineering services for the Renton 2019 Sanitary Sewer Rehabilitation and Replacement Project. The work includes survey, geotechnical, and civil engineering design services to evaluate and develop trenchless technology standards and specifications for the rehabilitation of wastewater infrastructure and development of plans and specifications for the Renton 2019 Sanitary Sewer Rehabilitation and Replacement Project.

City of Renton staff will evaluate the consultant’s statement of qualifications based on the project approach, each firm's technical skills and resources, project team's technical skills, history of performance, and knowledge. After the statement of qualifications have been evaluated, the highest ranked firms will be interviewed. Final selection will be made based upon either the written SOQs, or as may be determined by the city, an oral Interview.

Women and Minority Business Enterprises (WMBE) are encouraged to submit proposals.

Deadline

Submit one (1) electronic copy of the written statement of qualifications on either CD or jump drive in PDF format and five (5) hardcopies mailed or delivered to Renton City Hall at the following address: City of Renton, City Clerk’s Office – 7^th Floor, Attn: RFQ Renton 2019 Sanitary Sewer Rehabilitation and Replacement Project/Dave Christensen, 1055 South Grady Way, Renton, WA, 98057. No faxes or emails will be accepted.

The deadline for submittals is 4:00 p.m. on August 15, 2019. If mailed, the submittal must be postmarked no later than August 15, 2019.
