SCWQP: CONVEYANCE AND PUMP FACILITIES IN BALLARD

The City of Seattle's Ship Canal Water Quality Project (SCWQP) will be looking for a contractor to construct conveyance and pump facilities in the Ballard neighborhood. The system will connect the conveyance facilities to the new storage tunnel and pump station. This project is a Covered Project subject to the City of Seattle’s Community Workforce Agreement and Priority Hire. Bid advertisement is posted to https://seattle.procureware.com/. This project consists of the following elements of work:

Construction of the Tunnel Effluent Pump Station (TEPS), Facility Building, and associated site and right-of-way improvements at and adjacent to the TEPS Site

Construction of roughly 2,200 LF of conveyance piping to include 1,932 linear feet of 60” diameter fiber reinforced polymer pipe installed using micro tunneling, a diversion structure, maintenance shafts (holes), and associated site and right-of-way improvements at the Ballard Conveyance Site.

Demolition and reconstruction of flow diversion structures to allow flow into the storage tunnel at the East Ballard, Fremont, Queen Anne, and Wallingford project sites.
