Seattle-Tacoma International Airport Baggage Optimization Project - Phase 3
Notice of Request for Bids
Pursuant to RCW 39.10.380, Hensel Phelps as the General Contractor / Construction Manager (GC/CM) for the project is requesting Bids from qualified firms for Bid Package 2 of the Baggage Optimization Project - Phase 3 (BOP3) at the Seattle-Tacoma International Airport.

Bid Package 2 includes bid items for: Demolition, Beam Strengthening, Structural and Miscellaneous Steel, Cementitious Fireproofing, Firestopping, Drywall, Framing, Rough Carpentry and Insulation, Paints and Coatings, Plumbing and Piping, and HVAC.
Bid Documents are available November 15, 2024. Email requests to access Bid Documents to PNWBids@henselphelps.com. An Invitation to Bid will be sent via Building Connected to those requesting access to the Bid Documents.
A non-mandatory, but highly encouraged pre-bid meeting and site walk will be held to provide all interested parties information about the project.

Pre-Bid Meeting Location: The Conference Center at the Seattle-Tacoma International Airport at the Airport Office Building (AOB), 17801 International Blvd, Seattle, WA 98158

A site walk will be conducted immediately following the pre-bid meeting. Refer to Instructions to Bidders for site walk pre-registration and other requirements.
Bids are due no later than 3:00 PM PST December 17, 2024. Late bids will not be accepted. Submit bids via email to the email address indicated in the Instructions to Bidders document, on the bid form included in the Instructions to Bidders document.
Hensel Phelps and the Port of Seattle have determined that there are opportunities for Women & Minority Business Enterprises (WMBE) to participate as prime subcontractor bidders, sub-tier bidders, or suppliers in the project and have established an overall project WMBE aspirational goal of 4%. If interested in opportunities as a sub-tier please email PNWBids@henselphelps.com with your items of interest.
Successful Bidder will be required to furnish 100% Payment and Performance Bonds for all subcontracts exceeding $100,000. A Bid Bond is required to be submitted with the bid. Subcontracts shall be executed on the Hensel Phelps standard subcontract forms. Copies of the bond and subcontract forms are included with the Bid Documents. The Project has a Project Labor Agreement (PLA). Workers’ Compensation Waiver of Subrogation will be required of all Subcontractors.
