Request for Proposal No. RFP052182: Seattle School District Early Literacy Instruction Consultant

Seattle Public Schools (SPS) Strategic plan, Seattle Excellence, is focused on working to dramatically improve academic and life outcomes for Students of Color by disrupting the legacies of racism in our educational system. This charge put an emphasis on high-quality instruction and learning experiences that accelerate growth. Using a targeted universalism approach—with an intentional focus on African American boys and a goal that all students will be reading at grade level by the end of 3rd grade, SPS is seeking external expertise to drive towards this outcome through Literacy Professional Development and Coaching.

The Request for Proposal will be available starting on May 19, 2021 at Builders Exchange of Washington, Inc.  RFP documents associated addenda and Bidders List are available at no charge at the Builders Exchange, Inc. on-line Plan Center (www.bxwa.com).  To access documents on-line with Builders Exchange, go to “bxwa.com” and click on “Posted Projects,” “Goods and Services,” and “Seattle Public Schools Goods and Services.” It is recommended that bidders “Register as a Bidder” in order to receive automatic email notification of future addenda, to download addenda, and to be placed on the “Bidders List.”  Proposers who do not register will not be automatically notified of addenda and will need to periodically check the on-line plan room for addenda issued for this project.
