2019 SMALL WORKS ROSTER
STATEMENT OF QUALIFICATIONS


Please submit qualifications by 5:00 p.m. on December 28, 2018

The City of Camas has established by ordinance a Small Works Roster for Public Works projects estimated to cost $300,000.00 or less. Qualified contractors who are interested in being included on the 2019 Small Works Roster should submit a Statement of Qualifications (SOQ) form to Ronda Syverson at the Camas Municipal Center, at 616 NE 4th Avenue, Camas, Washington 98607.

Per RCW 39.04.350, before award of a public works contract, a bidder must meet the following responsibility criteria to be considered a responsible bidder in Washington State and qualified to be awarded a public works project: Contractor's License Number, Unified Business Identifier (UBI) Number, Labor & Industries Workers’ Compensation Number, Employment Security Number, Excise Tax Registration Number, not be disqualified from bidding on any public works contract under RCW 39.06.010 or 39.12.065(3), and other licenses as relevant to a particular project.
City of Camas Ordinance No. 2626 requires, as a condition of award, Contractor’s enrollment in the E-Verify program through the United States Department of Homeland Security.

As a courtesy, we ask that you submit the SOQ with a copy of the required Certificate of Liability Insurance form on or before December 28, 2017. Roster submittals will be accepted after this date. Companies must submit an SOQ packet to be placed on the 2019 Small Works Roster. The 2019 Small Works Roster will become effective on January 7, 2019.

The areas of work included on the roster are asphalt paving, building construction, concrete curbs and flatwork, earthwork and excavation, electrical, erosion control, extruded curb, fencing, fire sprinklers, hazardous material abatement, HVAC, landscape and irrigation, mechanical, plumbing, reservoir cleaning, septic tank pumping, sewer cleaning and video inspection, tree removal, underground utilities, well drilling, wetland mitigation, and other (areas of work not listed on the qualifications form).

Be advised that your company will be obligated to pay the minimum state prevailing wage rate, as determined by the Washington State Department of Labor & Industries, for all public works performed for the City of Camas. Please review RCW 39.12.020 Prevailing rate to be paid on public works and under public building service maintenance contracts.

As provided by Title VI of the Civil Rights Act of 1964, and the Civil Rights Restoration Act of 1987, the contractor, with regard to the work performed by it during the contract, shall not discriminate on the grounds of race, color, religion, sex or national origin in the selection and retention of sub-contractors, including procurement of materials and leases of equipment.
