Snoqualmie Valley Health ECCM/MCCM Solicitation
GLY Construction, acting as General Contractor on behalf of Snoqualmie Valley Health (SVH / Owner) and Dick Bratton Project Management (DBPM), is soliciting mechanical/plumbing and electrical partners per the MCCM/ECCM process per RCW 39.10.385 for the new Snoqualmie Valley Health Medical Office Building (the project). The project is located north of their existing campus at 9801 Frontier Road Ave S.E. in Snoqualmie Washington.
Mahlum serves as the Architect of Record, while PAE is responsible for developing MEP documents and acting as the MEP Engineer of Record for the project.
The project, as intended, includes a new 85,000 SQFT MOB/ASC Facility with associated ground level surface parking. The following services are programmed for the new facility: MOB Exam Rooms, Wellness Enhancement, Pharmacy, Ambulatory Surgery, Advanced Radiology, Fitness, Public Restaurant, Café, Office and Conferencing, and associated surface parking.

GLY, SVH, and DBPM intend to collaborate with mechanical, plumbing, and electrical contractors following the schematic design phase to support budgeting, design reviews, site logistics, scheduling, and sustainability and diversity goals. By engaging MEP partners early, we will leverage their leadership, expertise, and insights into MEP systems, with the expectation of achieving early cost certainty and fiscal benefits. We are seeking ECCM/MCCM firms highly experience with health care systems and construction to participate in achieving project goals through preconstruction, design, and construction and to work alongside GLY, SVH, DBPM, Mahlum, and PAE to maximize the value and quality of the project.

GLY will issue the ECCM/MCCM draft RFQ on November 1st, 2024. (Contact Erik Bedell at erik.bedell@gly.com for copy of RFQ) .This RFQ will include applicable documents + exhibits, contracting structure, selection/award process, point/weighting structure, wage requirements, table of milestones, schedule, response format, submittal and RCW requirements. A public hearing will be held on November 13th, 2024 from 2:00 PM-4:00PM at Snoqualmie Valley Health. Address 9801 Frontier Ave SE, Snoqualmie, WA 98065. Public comments on draft RFQ are due to GLY by end of day November 18th. Final determination letter and Final RFQ are scheduled to be released on November 19th depending on comments. The ECCM/MCCM proposals will be due on November 22nd at 4:00 PM. Interviews for shortlisted ECCM/MCCM partners are tentatively scheduled for December 9th and 10th . Finalists will then be selected and asked to provide a cost matrix that includes providing fee, specialized general conditions, and preconstruction services. The award is tentatively scheduled for December 19th, 2024.
