Sprinker Recreation Site Improvements – Phase 1

Pierce County

PROJECT DESCRIPTION:

Provide all direct, indirect, and related work, including but not limited to mobilization; labor; materials; equipment; excavation; hauling; import of offsite materials; grading and earthwork; storm drainage; stormwater drainage system; electrical work; water and sanitary sewer utilities; paving and surfacing; landscaping; irrigation; restoration; signage; fencing; supervision; permitting; overhead; and profit for all work included in the Contract Documents, necessary to fully and completely install Park Construction per the Contract Documents and not included in any other Bid Item.

Project Estimate: $14,494,000 including WSST

Clarification due: All questions must be submitted within the Pierce County OpenGov Procurement software, under the Clarifications Tab not later than 4:00 PM, Wednesday, December 07, 2022. Bidders must be registered in the ProcureWare software in order to submit questions. Instructions for Pierce County OpenGov registration.

Project Walk-Thru: November 21, 2022 @ 9am at Sprinker Recreation Center - Rainier Room, 2/F.

Time of Completion: The Contractor will be required to substantially complete all basic bid and alternate work within 410 calendar days of NTP. The contractor will have an additional 30 calendar days to reach Final Completion and Acceptance for a total of 440 calendar days

1. Alternate Bid Item C1: Fields 7 & 8 and Playground Synthetic Turf Infill – Deductive
2. Alternate Bid Item C2: Restroom Building Renovations
3. Alternate Bid Item C3: Small Picnic Shelters, Furnishings, and Signage
4. Alternate Bid Item C4: Parking Lot Improvements
5. Alternate Bid Item C5: Adult Fitness Course Equipment, Surfacing, and Concrete
6. Alternate Bid Item C6: Futsal Mini-Pitch Court Paving, Structure, and Furnishings

This project is subject to Prevailing Wages.

Subcontractors/suppliers who are MWBE Certified are encouraged to submit a bid.

BID DUE DATE & TIME: Thursday, December 15th @ end of business day
