SR224 RED MOUNTAIN VICINITY IMPROVEMENTS PROJECT
INVITATION TO BID
The City of West Richland will receive sealed bids for the SR 224 RED MOUNTAIN VICINITY IMPROVEMENTS PROJECT Sealed bids will be received at the Municipal Services Facility, 3100 Belmont Blvd, West Richland, Washington, 99353 until Tuesday, May 27 at 2:00 p.m.
The project provides for the improvements of SR 224 (Van Giesen St.) Phase 1 (MP 3.15 to MP 7.49) in Benton County, by the addition of a center turn lane, on street bike lanes, asphalt paving, crushed surfacing, curb and gutters, sidewalks, shared use pathway, roundabout curbs, truck apron and splitter islands, storm structures, illumination, rapid flashing beacons, delineation, landscaping rock, permanent signing and other work in accordance with these Contract Plans, Contract Provisions, and the Standard Specifications.
All bid proposals shall be accompanied by a bid proposal deposit in surety bond, cash, certified check, or cashier’s check, surety bond in an amount equal to five percent (5%) of the amount of such bid proposal. Should the successful Bidder fail to enter into such contract and furnish satisfactory performance bond within the time stated in the specifications, the bid proposal deposit shall be forfeited to the City of West Richland.

Only properly executed proposals submitted on the forms furnished by the City of West Richland will be accepted. The City of West Richland reserves the right to reject any or all bids, to waive any informalities, to accept any bid deemed to be responsive in the best interest of the City of West Richland and reserves the right to readvertise for new proposals.
