SCOPE:                                            The work consists of the interior remodel of fifty-seven (57) student units and two (2) apartments, to include new finishes, fixtures and casework, and replacement of plumbing piping in the utilidor (Tunnel) and vertical chases (including buried piping under the first floor slab), from the Mechanical Room (H1) to all student units and apartments. Radiators, exhaust vents, plumbing fixtures and light fixtures will be replaced in kind. The work will be completed in two (2) phases, as represented in the drawings.

 

ESTIMATED COST:                         $5,600,00 - 6,200,000

 

TIME/DATE/LOCATION:                 Sealed Bids will be received up to 2:00 PM Pacific Time, Tuesday, November 26, 2019 at Central Washington University’s Jongeward Plant Services Building, located at 205 E. 11th Avenue, Ellensburg 98926, Bids received after the day and hour above stated will not receive consideration and will be time/date stamped and returned to bidder unopened.

PREBID CONFERENCE:                The Project site is available for inspection by prospective bidders at a pre-bid site meeting and walk-through on Thursday, November 7, 2019, convening at the Residence Life Office conference Room, Sparks Hall (behind Barto Residence Hall), 900 East 12th Avenue, at 10:00 a.m. Pacific Time.  Attendance at this pre-bid meeting is recommended but not mandatory as there will be limited opportunity for bidders to visit the Project site and ask questions concerning the Project subsequent to the meeting. Participants should get a temporary parking pass from the Public Safety Office, 1211 Wildcat Way, and park in Lot I-15.
