NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that sealed bids will be received by Whatcom County Administrative Services Finance/Purchasing at their office on the fifth floor of the Whatcom County Courthouse, 311 Grand Avenue Suite 503, Bellingham WA 98225 for the following:
STREET SWEEPING AND CLEANING SERVICE
UNTIL: 2:30 PM Tuesday May 14, 2019
At which time and place the bids will be publicly opened and read aloud. All bidders and any other interested people are invited to be present. Late submittals will not be considered.
The Whatcom County Public Works Maintenance & Operations Division is requesting bids from qualified firms interested in providing Whatcom County with sweeping and cleaning services of specified streets located in the Lake Whatcom and Lake Samish watersheds. The bidder must provide both the equipment and operator for this service. The bidder entering into a contractual agreement as a result of this bid will be required to follow all Department of Labor & Industries reporting, including payment of Prevailing Wage Rates, as well as following all other public work requirements.
