Description of Work – The Sound Transit Bus Base North (BBN) project will be used to maintain, service, wash, fuel, and store up to 120 articulated and double-decker buses. The BBN project will also include the development of approximately 12.5 Acres, and right-of-way improvements.

The BBN project will include the following:

  • 87,500sf Maintenance Building
  • 36,000sf Administration and Operations Building
  • 141,000sf Bus Storage/Parking Structure/Ramp
  • 5,600sf Wash Facility
  • 140sf Security Guard Booth
  • Other improvements will include a new public sidewalk and through-block connections surrounding the site perimeter.

This is a Project Labor Agreement pursuit and has prevailing wage rate requirements.
