Sub bid - 135th St Housing Rehab Project, Tacoma WA
Vadis is seeking quotes from qualified, licensed and bonded contractors to perform specific categories of work related to the project, known as Vadis 135th St Rehab Project, located at 518 135th St. S. Tacoma, WA.
Brief Scope of Work:
This is a housing rehab which includes replacement of flooring, build a concrete ramp, install corner guards, modification of hall and door to master, pocket doors, and bathroom remodel to ADA specifications.
This project is federally funded with Community Development Block Grant funds from the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development, CDFA number 14.218, Grant number B-17-UC-53-0002, through the Pierce County CDBG program administered by Pierce County Department Human Services, Community Development Division and is subject to Title 24 CFR 570 and the U.S. Code of Federal Regulations as applicable. This project is subject to Federal and Washington State Prevailing Wages and Labor Standards as described in the Prevailing Wage section of this quote packet.
There will be a mandatory pre-quote conference held on May 4, 2018 at 10:00 am onsite at 518 135th St. S. Tacoma, WA. The work must be coordinated with Mary Bushnell. Questions about this solicitation should be directed to Mary Bushnell; 253-863-5173 ext.245 / mary@vadis.org.
The project site will be available for subcontractors to review on May 8, 2018 at 10:00 am.
Minority and/or Women Owned Businesses and Section 3 Contractors are encouraged to submit quotes. Contractors shall not be discriminated against on grounds of sex, race, color, age, religion, national origin, disability, or other protected classes. Contractors are encouraged to hire apprentices and Section 3 residents. Further, all contractors are encouraged to consider minority and women owned businesses as potential subcontractors and material suppliers for this project. Contractors must submit one (1) original, sealed quote on May 18, 2018 by 4:00 pm to Mary Bushnell at 1701 Elm St. E. Sumner WA 98390.
Responses must be received at the address above on or before the due date. Responses submitted after the due date and time will not be considered. Quotes will be opened and posted at 1701 Elm St. E. Sumner WA on May 18, 2018 at 4:00 pm.
