Project Description
- Site Work consists of adding decorative fencing at the courtyard to enhance security and control circulation; adding new site chain link fencing and gates; rebuilding the playground retaining wall and curb; providing a new service yard area for an emergency generator, transformer, gas meter and recycling/disposal; adding a new chiller and chiller enclosure; adding a new gas service; improving site storm drainage; demolishing the existing look-out tower; new site ramp and stairs, and civil, landscape.

- Building Modernization Work consists of: New entry vestibule addition, student restrooms reconfigured at each classroom pod to provide ADA staff toilets, replace existing urinals at boys’ restrooms with toilets; existing storage space reconfigured and reduced in size; upgrades and enhancements to interior finishes at Classroom Building and Support Building; upgrades and enhancements to MEP systems at the Classroom Building and Support Building; reconfiguration of administration; new mechanical platforms and a boiler room additions; new classroom building mechanical closet additions; a new multi-purpose room addition constructed under the existing covered play roof; Library Workroom reconfiguration; new timeout rooms; replacement of select gym equipment; new building signage, and replacement of most building casework.

Estimated Value: $11.3 million

Contract Duration:
NTP approx 5/1/18 however on-site construction will not begin until 6/22/18.
Phase 1: 6/22/18 - 8/18/18
Phase 2A: 7/16/18 - 12/21/18
Phase 2B: 12/26/18 - 3/29/19
Phase 2C: 4/1/19 - 6/21/19
phase 3: 6/22/19 - 8/18/19
Phase 4: 7/15/19 - 8/30/19
Phase 5: 8/31/19 - 10/15/19

Pricing Requirements:
1. BASE BID
• New Construction (all new bldg construction and all on-site construction)
• Modernization of Existing Bldgs (all bldg modernization work, including bldg and site demo)
• Off-Site Construction (all off-site work and trenching work)

2. UNIT PRICES [Please check and see if you need to include unit pricing!!]
• UP 1 - Hydraulic Cement Underlayment
• UP 2 - Plywood Soffit Replacement
• UP 3 - Attic Radiant Barrier

3. ALTERNATES [Please check and see if you need to include alternate pricing!!]
• AA-1: increased site fencing height @ west property line
• AA-2: add AC to gym, multi-purpose room, and admin
• AA-3: demo existing lookout tower and provide parking revisions
• AA-4: add 3 conference rooms in Area B pods
• AA-5: add acoustical walls and finishes in Area B
• AA-6: add acoustical ceiling panels to the covered play area
• AA-7: replace operable panel partition in music room
• AA-8: replace existing wall mounted basketball backstops in gym
