REQUEST FOR BIDS METROPOLITAN PARK DISTRICT OF TACOMA

Project: Tacoma Nature Center Building & ADA Improvements

The Metropolitan Park District of Tacoma will receive bids for Tacoma Nature Center Building & ADA Improvements (J2021-10) at the office of Planning, Design & Development Metropolitan Park District of Tacoma, 4702 S. 19th St., Tacoma, WA 98405 until 10:00 a.m. on August 5, 2021. Bids received after the appointed time set for receipt will be considered non-responsive. All work completed for the Metropolitan Park District will be considered a public works project with prevailing wage documentation required.

Scope of Work: Renovation and restoration to existing storefronts, windows, fascia, roofing, stairs and walkways in accordance with the permitted drawings and specifications.

Renovations are to repair wear of materials and to update the facility for ADA codes.

Estimate: $150,000 - $236,000

Pre-bid Meeting: Monday, July 26, 2021 at 1:00 p.m.

Time of Completion: 120 Calendar days

Liquidated Damages: $250.00 per day
