Tanglewilde 600 Mainline Replacement

INVITATION FOR BIDS

Sealed bids will be received by Thurston PUD (District), located at 1230 Ruddell Rd. SE, Lacey, WA 98503 until 2 pm, Wednesday, June 18, 2025, for the general contract for replacement of the Tanglewilde 600 Mainline Replacement. The project consists of the replacement of approximately 11,000 linear feet of mainline including all valves, hydrants, service laterals, and meter boxes.
Contractors may obtain the contract documents by requesting them from the District at doug.piehl@thurstonpud.org at no cost.
A certified or bank cashier’s check for 5 percent of the bid amount, payable to Thurston PUD, or a bid bond executed by a licensed bonding company is required with each bid.
The District shall have the right to reject any or all bids not accompanied by bid security or data required by the bidding document or a bid in any way incomplete or irregular.

This project is funded through the Washington State Public Works Board Loan program. PWB requirements and provisions must be met by general contractors and all subcontractors. All contractors and subcontractors must be licensed in the State of Washington to conduct business.
Optional Pre-bid conferences will be held at 10 am on Thursday, May 29, 2025. Location will be at the corner of Husky Way and 414 Wildcat St SE, Lacey, WA 98503. Representatives of Thurston PUD will be present to discuss the Project. Bidders are encouraged to attend and participate in the conference. Engineer will transmit to all prospective Bidders of record such Addenda as Engineer considers necessary in response to questions arising at the conference.
