Franklin County Public Works is inviting and requesting bid proposals for CRP 614 – Taylor Flats Bridge #903-3.46
The project replaces the Taylor Flats Road Bridge over South Columbia Basin Irrigation District’s Esquatzel Canal. The new bridge will be in the same general footprint with a wider driving surface to meet current standards and functional requirements, increasing from 24’ in width to 40’ in width, containing two (2) 12’ travel lanes and 8’ shoulders. The bridge length is 81 feet between pavement seats and completely spans the existing concrete lined canal. The project includes the replacements of guardrails, construction of storm collection systems, removal and replacement of concrete canal liner, HMA paving, and other work. The project is located on the section line between sections 16 and 17 in Township 10 N., Range 29 E., W.M. (46.345930°,-119.198294°)
Sealed bids shall be marked with the project name and number and be addressed to the Franklin County Commissioners. Bids will be received at the Office of the Board of County Commissioners, Franklin County Courthouse, 1016 N. 4th Ave, Pasco, Washington, 99301 until 8:45 AM, Tuesday, November 6th, 2018, and will then and there be opened and publicly read aloud during the regular County Commissioners meeting after 9:00 AM. Bids shall be submitted only on the proposal form provided with the specifications.
All bid proposals shall be accompanied by a bid proposal deposit in cash, certified check, cashier's check, or surety bond in an amount equal to five percent (5%) of the total contract amount.
