TEL-260301 Turko Node Project (ARPA) and TEL-260407 Keyport Node Project (ARPA)

Notice is hereby given that Public Utility District No. 1 of Kitsap County (Kitsap PUD) will receive sealed bid proposals for the TEL-260301 Turko Node Project (ARPA) and TEL-260407 Keyport Node Project (ARPA) on November 30, 2023, until 1:00 p.m., at the KPUD’s Administrative Offices, located at 1431 Finn Hill Rd, Poulsbo, Washington 98370. Sealed bids will be publicly opened and read aloud shortly thereafter at the Finn Hill Road location. Bids are being asked for provision of all necessary labor, equipment and materials required for the construction of a 12’ x 20’ CMU building with slab on grade located on Turko Ln in Seabeck, WA and a roof replacement on an existing building located in Keyport, WA all as indicated in the plans and specifications which can be found on the Kitsap PUD website https://www.kpud.org/about-us/vendorsbids/. All other permits if any are the Contractors responsibility. All work performed on this project is subject to state prevailing wage rates. Non-mandatory site meetings will be held; note Introduction to Bidders. The Kitsap PUD is an Equal Opportunity and Affirmative Action Employer. This project is partially funded through Kitsap County with federal funds from the U.S. Treasury ARPA Coronavirus State and Local Fiscal Recovery Fund. Contractor must be licensed, bonded, and insured in Washington State. Contractors are encouraged to commit to local hires for this project. Small, Minority- and Women-owned firms are encouraged to submit bids. A 5% bid guarantee is required in the form of certified or cashier’s check, or surety bond. The Contract will be awarded to the qualified bidder submitting the lowest responsible bid. Kitsap PUD reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive all informalities in the bidding in accordance with the specifications. Each Bid Proposal shall conform to the requirements of Section 1-02.9 of the Contract Special Provisions. Bids shall be made out on the bid form furnished with the specifications. When submitting a bid, only include the bid form, the bid guarantee, Non-Collusion certificate, Statement of Bidders Qualifications, and the., Certification of Compliance with Wage Payment Statutes, and Subcontractor Lists.
