Thompson Falls WWTP Improvements

Project Information

TML Construction, Inc. is bidding as a prime contractor for the Thompson Falls WWTP Improvement Project. Bids are due to the Project's Owner on November 11, 2020 at 1 pm. Quotes from qualified subcontractors and suppliers can be submitted via email to brian@tmlconst.com and are due to TML by no later that 10 am that day.

 

The project generally consists of approximately 23,000 LF of new gravity sewer main including connecting approximately 335 services (both gravity and grinder pump services), approximately 8,800 LF of new sewer force main with one triplex grinder pump lift station with backup generator, two new packaged submersible lift stations with backup generators, replacing approximately 1,900 LF of gravity sewer main and 3,650 LF of existing force main, a horizontal directional drill/jack and bore under MT Highway 200 and the Railroad. The project also includes rehabilitating the existing treatment system lagoons by construction of a headworks building, screen system, complete mix / partial mix covered lagoon system utilizing existing lined lagoons, polishing reactor, disinfection building, blower building updates, blowers and aeration system, ultraviolet disinfection system, system piping, sludge removal and disposal and other related site improvements and demolition.

 

The project site is located at Thompson Falls, Montana.
 

 

Contractor and any of the Contractor’s Subcontractors bidding or doing work on this project are required to be registered with the Montana Department of Labor and Industry (DLI). Forms for registration are available from the Department of Labor and Industry, PO Box 8011, 1805 Prospect, Helena MT 59604-8011. Information on registration can be obtained by calling (406) 444-7734. All laborers and mechanics employed by Contractor or Subcontractors in performance of the construction work shall be paid no less than the minimum standard prevailing rate of wages for each classification; which shall be the higher of either the Montana Prevailing Wage Rates or the Federal Davis-Bacon Prevailing Wage Rates. The contractor must ensure that employees and applicants for employment are not discriminated against because of their race, color, religion, sex, or national origin.

 

This project is funded in part or in whole with grant/loan funding from Treasure State Endowment Program (TSEP), Rural Development (RD), Department of Natural Resources (DNRC) and State Revolving Fund (SRF).

 

The project is subject to American Iron and Steel Requirements.

 

TML desires to utiliize small, minority and women’s businesses when possible as sources of supplies, equipment, construction, and services should it be awarded a contract for the work.

TML will consider dividing total requirements, when economically feasible, into small tasks or quantities to permit maximum participation of small, minority, and women’s businesses. TML will also consider establishing delivery schedules, where the requirements of the work permit, to encourage participation by small, minority and women’s businesses.
