INVITATION FOR BIDS

 

Sealed bids will be received by Thurston PUD (District), located at 1230 Ruddell Rd. SE, Lacey, WA 98503 until 3 P.M., Wednesday, August 18, 2021, for the general contract for upgrading and consolidating the Sward and Platt water systems. The project consists of constructing a 10,000-gallon reservoir, extending the Platt pumphouse approximately 72 square feet, plumbing modifications, installation of a new 35 gpm booster pump station including electrical and control system, installation of approximately 518 feet of 2” pipe, decommissioning the inactive Platt well, water main abandonment/demolition between the decommissioned well and the distribution system, landscaping, and pavement restoration.

 

Contractors may obtain the contract documents by requesting them from the District at kgubbe@thurstonpud.org at no cost.

 

There will be a mandatory pre-bid meeting held on Thursday, August 5, 2021 at 10:00 A.M., onsite at 135 Quarry Lane, Winlock, WA 98569.

 

A certified or bank cashier’s check for 5 percent of the bid amount, payable to Thurston PUD, or a bid bond executed by a licensed bonding company is required with each bid.

 

The District shall have the right to reject any or all bids not accompanied by bid security or data required by the bidding document or a bid in any way incomplete or irregular.

This project is funded through the Washington State Drinking Water State Revolving Fund program with federal funds from the Environmental Protection Agency. DWSRF requirements and provisions must be met by Washington State licensed general contractors and all subcontractors.
