Town of Latah Water Reservoir Lining

Sealed bids for the Town of Latah Water Reservoir Lining project, will be received at the Town of Latah, Town Hall, 108 E. Market Street, Latah, WA 99018 until 12:00 p.m., Thursday, December 14th, 2023, at which time the bids will be publicly opened and read. The project generally consists of work to reline the Town’s existing 250,000-gallon bolted steel standpipe reservoir. The proposed liner is Durachem 580 or equivalent tank liner system, which will apply a polyurea product to the interior of the tank walls and base, creating a monolithic wall and floor on the inside of the tank. Water reservoir lining is to be provided in accordance with the Contract Documents and specifications. Sealed proposals must be delivered to the Town of Latah 108 E. Market Street, Latah, WA 99018 (Mailing address P.O. Box 130, Latah, WA 99018) by 12:00 p.m. on the date specified for opening, in a sealed envelope clearly marked “SEALED BID FOR TOWN OF LATAH WATER RESERVOIR LINING”. In-person acceptance of delivered bids will be available at Town Hall during business hours from 8:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. on Tuesday and Thursdays. The door to Town Hall will be locked. Bidders should knock on the door when they are standing at the entrance to Town Hall and a Town staff person will come to the door and will receive the sealed bid. SEALED BID PROPOSALS MUST BE DELIVERED BEFORE 12:00 P.M. All bid proposals shall be accompanied by a bid proposal deposit in the form of a certified check, cashier’s check, or surety bond in an amount equal to five percent (5%) of the amount of such bid proposal. Only properly executed proposals submitted on the forms furnished by the Town of Latah will be accepted. All bidders are required to submit a list of subcontractors that will perform work on the project amounting to ten percent (10%) or more of the contract amount. All work performed on this project will be subject to the higher of the prevailing federal or state wage rates. A tabulation of the bids received, together with the recommendation of the Mayor of Latah, will be presented to the Town Council at the first available regularly scheduled meeting. The Town Council reserves the right to reject any and all Proposals, to waive any and all informalities and the right to disregard all nonconforming, nonresponsive or conditional Proposals. Award of the construction contract is contingent upon approval by the funding agency. This project is funded through the Spokane County American Rescue Plan Act (ARPA) funds.
