Transportation Services - Request for Letters of Intent to Bid

LETTER OF INTENT TO BID

Aging & Adult Care of Central Washington (AACCW) is accepting letters of intent to bid for transportation services for persons age 60+ in Lincoln & Adams County (Area 1) who cannot manage transportation to medical services, meal programs, shopping, etc.  Personal assistance must be provided for those with limited physical mobility.  Contractor must provide own vehicles, some accessible to persons with wheelchairs, and be willing to provide door-to-door transportation within the area.  Initial contract period is 1/1/2024 – 12/31/2024, with an option to renew yearly for an additional 3 years.

Minimum insurance required: Each Occurrence - $1,000,000; General Aggregate - $2,000,000.  Also, for-profit and private, non-profit contractors must meet additional coverage requirements.  Payment is issued monthly for units of service, by 1 hour of service.  Contract amount for current 12 months is $124,242.00.  Contractor must provide 15% match.  Monthly support documents required.  Must comply with EOE & ADA.  Minority & women-owned businesses encourage to apply.  Letters of intent to bid must be received by 4:00 pm 7/24/23 at AACCW, 270 9th St. NE, Suite 100, East Wenatchee, WA. 98802.  Only agencies responding with a letter of intent to bid will be allowed to submit a proposal.  For more information, please contact Christine Johnson at (509) 886-0700, ext. 231, or toll free at (800) 572-4459, ext. 231.
