TREAT Prototype Loop Fabrication
TerraPower (referenced as the “Company” hereafter) requests your proposal in response to the following documents:
• Statement of Work (SOW)
• Specification (Spec)
• Purchase Order Terms and Conditions, including Required Flowdowns
Proposal selection will focus on the bidder’s team capability to address all areas of the statement of work, specification, and supplier proposed schedule. This work is being done under a government contract requiring the bidder to comply with the terms and conditions above.
The scope of work is envisioned to include the fabrication, verification and related requirements for the Transient Reactor Test Facility (TREAT) Prototype Loop system hereafter known as the
Prototype Loop System (PLS) or unit, for use on the TerraPower TREAT sodium loop development program. The SOW is split into four tasks:
Task 1: Prototype Loop fabrication, and design and fabrication of the associated Data Acquisition System (DAQ) – Estimated delivery date to TerraPower (Everett, WA): March 31, 2021
Task 2: Fabrication of the Prototype Loop Frame and Catch Pan – Estimated delivery date to TerraPower (Everett, WA): March 31, 2021
Task 3: Fabrication of the Prototype Loop Secondary Can – Estimated delivery date to TerraPower (Everett, WA): March 31, 2021
Task 4: Fabrication of the Prototype Loop Test Section – Estimated delivery date to TerraPower (Everett, WA): March 31, 2021
See the Statement of Work and Specifications for more information. Bidder can submit pricing on one or more Tasks listed above or all four Tasks. Bidders are encouraged to submit pricing on all four tasks.
The successful bidder will enter into an agreement with the Company. The Company’s format is provided and contains the Company’s terms and conditions, including required flowdowns, and the requirements associated with workscope and pricing.
Bidder is requested to provide firm, fixed pricing for the required scope of services.
