U.S. Army Corps of Engineers New Consolidated Rigging Facility

Absher Construction is bidding the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE) New Consolidated Rigging Facility. The project includes a parachute rigging facility consisting of drying tower, packing lanes, parachute repair room, supply rooms, storage areas, oxygen systems maintenance room, and a classroom, building information systems and sustainability and energy features supporting facilities include all related site-work and utilities (electrical, water, gas, sanitary sewer, and information system distribution), lighting, parking, curb and gutter, sidewalks, storm drainage, landscaping, roads, and other site improvements. Special construction includes sustainable construction features complying with Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED v4) "Silver". Comprehensive interior design and audio-visual services are included. 

Key Notes:

- There is a Project labor Agreement (PLA) required for this project following Executive Order 14063. This agreement is being drafted and will be issued prior to bid. All contractors must comply with the PLA. 

- Use Tax: please incorporate all applicable use tax in your bid proposal.

- Government is requesting that contractors hold price for minimum 90 days. 

- Project has a 2 year construction schedule from NTP.

- See "Solicitation" pgs 8, 9 for Bid Schedule. There are 18 CLINs. Please ensure your bid proposal aligns with this Bid Schedule. 

- See "Solicitation" pgs 58, 59 for timeframe when optional CLINs (0009 - 0018) may be exercised.
