Request for Qualifications (RFQ) for Design-Build Services

General: The University of Washington (University or UW) is soliciting Statements of Qualifications (SOQ) from qualified design-build teams (which may include joint ventures) to design and construct the Harborview Medical Center, Nineth & Jefferson Building, Operating Rooms & Sleep Clinic Relocate.

Pre-Submittal Meeting: A representative from each design-build firm that intends to submit a SOQ response is strongly encouraged to attend and sign-in at the pre-submission meeting scheduled for June 28, 2023, at 1:00 pm on zoom or in person at Harborview Medical Center Research & Training Building Auditorium. Project Description: The primary scope includes demolition and remodel, update to code and operational needs for new spaces and modifications to existing rooms and a small build out. The project budget is $21 million. The target budget for all work to be provided under the design-build contract is $16.4 million.
