Alterations and an addition to an existing 32,088 sqft, 3-story armory. The armory was originally built in 1938. The 3-story (1,200 total sqft) addition is being constructed to provide an accessible route to all floors of the bldg. Includes the elevator/ramp & stair addition and storm sewer serving it. Utility improvements include refeeding the bldg with 3-phase power. Installation of a new undergound fire water supply and domestic water service crossing Byrd St. Retrofitting the bldg with automatic sprinkler and fire alarm and detection systems. Replacement of the windows and entry assemblies. Alterations to the basement together with mech and elec improvements to support the addition and altered spaces. Limited structural repairs at east window heads. Finish repairs to entry stair wall and landings and the replacement of the guards and handrails.
Estimated Value: $2.995 - $3.310 million
• Substantial Completion: 360 calendar days from NTP
• Final Completion: 60 calendar days from Subst Compl.
There is one (1) BASE BID and eight (8) alternates. Your firm's scope of work may fall within several different bid items.
Wage Rates: This project is subject to WA State L&I prevailing wages rates. Certified payroll will be required.
