WAHKIAKUM COUNTY PUD NO. 1
SKAMOKAWA CONSOLIDATION
Sealed Proposals will be received by the undersigned at the Wahkiakum County PUD No. 1, P.O. Box 248, 45 River Street, Cathlamet, Washington 98612, up to 11:00 a.m.; local time on Thursday, July 9, 2020, for furnishing the necessary labor, materials, equipment, tools, and guarantees thereof to construct the Skamokawa Consolidation. Please call the Wahkiakum County PUD prior to the bid opening at 360-795-3266 for instructions to join the Zoom conference call.
Schedule A includes installation of approximately 450 feet of 6-inch water main for an intertie between the Skamokawa Water System and Sleepy Hollow Water System including pipe, valves, backfill, bedding, surface restoration, traffic control, and water meters. Installation of approximately 1,100 feet of 6-inch water main for an intertie between the Skamokawa Water System and Brooks Slough and Steamboat Slough Water Systems including attachment to the Brooks Slough Bridge, pipe, valves, backfill, bedding, surface restoration, traffic control, water meters, and installation of a new chlorination system in the Skamokawa Water System wellhouse. Schedule B includes installation of approximately 700 feet of 6-inch water main including valves, backfill, bedding, and surface restoration as an additive item.
The Work shall be substantially complete within 60 working days after the commencement date stated in the Notice to Proceed. All bidding and construction is to be performed in compliance with the Contract Provisions and Contract Plans for this project and any addenda issued thereto that are on file at the office of the Wahkiakum County PUD No. 1, Cathlamet, Washington.
The proposals will be publicly read aloud at 11:00 a.m., by Zoom conference call only. Proposals are to be submitted only on the form provided with the Bid Documents. All Proposals must be accompanied by a certified check, postal money order, cashiers check, or Proposal bond payable to the “Wahkiakum County PUD No. 1” and in an amount of not less than five percent (5%) of the total Proposal amount.

This project is fully funded through the Washington State Drinking Water State Revolving Fund Program with federal funds from the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency. General contractors and all subcontractors must meet DWSRF requirements and provisions. The Wahkiakum County PUD No. 1 expressly reserves the right to reject any or all Proposals and to waive minor irregularities or informalities and to Award the Project to the lowest responsive, responsible bidder as it best serves the interests of the Wahkiakum County PUD No. 1.
