Project Description:  Work requires improvement of the fixed existing overhead wooden pedestrian walkway with a wider, safer concrete and steel facility built to current seismic code with clear glass operable windows for ventilation and nonslip flooring. Work includes improving the moveable overhead loading cab and traffic control. Work also includes replacing timber piles with steel piles, updating old mechanical and electrical components that power the existing moveable transfer span connecting the pedestrian walkways to the ferry, and ADA improvements.

This project has a DBE COA goal of 16%
