Water system design for supplemental well

The Confederated Tribes of the Chehalis Reservation Planning Department seeks proposals from qualified firms and individuals for engineering services for the upgrades outlined in our Well Alternatives analysis from Golder 2020 report. The design of a well pump to fit our current well pipe previously drilled, conveyance and upgrades to our current water system.
In the report several options were presented, and the Tribe selected alternative 1B upgrading the current water systems needs with an installation of a well pump maximizing the flow allowed by the pipe and screen installed and conveying it to our aeration tower that would need to be replaced and adding additional components.
The assurance of safe and abundant water for fire suppression and development is a priority for the Chehalis Tribe, current needs have surpassed our current and future demands.
The current water system is a loop connecting through a utility easement on Howanut Rd to the Lucky Eagle casino. The main section of the loop supply’s water to the Davis, Makum, and Tahown communities and non-residential tribal buildings. It currently has two wells that fill two reservoir tanks with a capacity of 820,000 gallons of water that first run through a chlorination treatment system and aeration tower. The second phase is the casino’s water system which has one well treated with a chlorination system and aeration tower that then fills three concrete reservoir tanks with the capacity of 232,000 gallons.
