Walsh Construction Company II, LLC is requesting quotes from subcontractors and suppliers, including certified DBE and SBE firms, for the following:

Waterfront Alaskan Way–Elliott Way

Soliciting Quotes for the Following:

This project constructs a new Alaskan Way corridor from S. Dearborn Street to Pine Street, and a new Elliott Way corridor from Pine Street to Bell Street.  The corridor will have improvements for general-purpose traffic, transit, freight, and pedestrian and bicycle facilities.  The project will also construct a pedestrian promenade, a continuous public open space that facilitates pedestrian movement to and along the waterfront located west of the roadway from S. Washington to Pine Street. 

The Scope of the Project Work and Areas for Subcontract Participation:  Site preparation, earthwork excavation and filling, clearing and grubbing, removal of the existing roadway and appurtenances, shoring and dewatering; drilled shafts and piles for bridge structures, walls, kiosks, and art works; concrete bridges and retaining walls; utilities, including water, storm, sewer, electrical transmission and distribution lines, and communication lines; roadway, protected bike lanes, and promenade paving; lighting, signal poles, signals, wiring and signage; sidewalks, curb ramps, and railings; urban design elements including special paving and surface treatments. The Project includes an Additive for bridge shafts and fill at the Overlook Walk location and Additive Alternative for increasing roadway paving from 12-inches to 14-inches.
