INVITATION FOR BIDS PURCHASE OF CONCRETE FOR 2016 AND 2018 WATERSMART MAIN CANAL Contract PC 2021-02 The Kennewick Irrigation District is inviting and requesting bid proposals for the Purchase of Concrete for 2016 and 2018 WaterSMART Main Canal contract. This contract is for the purchase and delivery of approximately 1,960 cubic yards of 4,000 psi concrete. More details of the project and specifications will be included in the bid packet.

Bid documents, including plans and specifications, are available at the Kennewick Irrigation District office at 2015 S. Ely St., Kennewick, WA, 99337, starting at 2:00 p.m. on January 11, 2021.

Bids shall be titled “PC 2021–02: 2016 and 2018 WaterSMART Concrete – Main Canal” and shall be addressed to the Kennewick Irrigation District Board of Directors. Bids will be received by Lori Gibson, Executive Assistant, 2015 S. Ely Street, Kennewick, WA 99337, up to the hour of 2:00 p.m. on Monday, January 25th, 2021 at which time they will be opened at the Kennewick Irrigation District Office. Due to COVID-19 restrictions, bids can be sent by delivery service or mailed for KID receipt by the deadline, or delivered by dropping them in the payment drop near the front entrance of the KID building at 2015 South Ely Street, Kennewick, Washington, by the deadline. NO BIDS WILL BE ACCEPTED BY EMAIL.

At the time and date stated above, the bids will be publicly opened and read aloud. Bids are to be submitted only on original forms provided in the specifications. Following receipt of a successful bid, award of the contract will proceed the week of the bid.

The KID reserves the right to reject any or all bids, to waive technicalities, to combine this contract with other contracts when considering contract award, and to accept any bid which it deems in the best interest of the District. The KID hereby notifies all bidders that it encourages and will affirmatively ensure that in any contract entered into, pursuant to this invitation, certified minority and women’s business enterprises will be afforded full opportunity to submit bids in response to the invitation and will not be discriminated against on the grounds of race, color, national origin, or sex in consideration for an award. Bidders shall certify that it or its principles are not presently debarred, suspended proposed for debarment, declared ineligible, or voluntarily excluded from covered transactions by any Federal department or agency.
