Project Description:  Architectural: Roof repair and roof re-cover work at low slope and steep slope areas. Installation of multi-layer roofing membrane over existing roof assembly at all low-slope roof areas. Installation of asphalt shingles over existing shingles at steep-slope roof areas. Removal and re-installation of (e) roof rains. Re-installation and replacement of existing sheet metal copings at parapets and flashings at roof to wall transitions. Replacement of sheet metal fascia. (E) roof mounted mechanical equipment to be re-used is to be removed, and re-installed at taller curbs. Replacement of (e) roof access ladder and roof access hatch. Furnish and install new access ladder. Project Alternates includes an alternate Roof Manufacturer, Roof Replacement at one roof area, and door hardware replacement at selected exterior doors. Structural: The elective structural seismic upgrades at the roof levels include installation of shear wall and shear brace frame components, structural connection of posts and beams.
