Request For Proposals – Western State Hospital – New Forensic Hospital –Tranche 2C

Clark Construction Group has been selected by The Department of Enterprise Services and The Department of Social Health Services as the General Contractor/Construction Manager (GC/CM), for the Western State Hospital – New Forensic Hospital project.

The Western State Hospital – New Forensic Hospital project consists of demolishing twelve existing buildings and infrastructure and replacing with approximately 590,000 SF of new development, consisting of a 4-story post tensioned concrete and structural steel hospital, a 3-story mass timber administration building, and associated site work. The facility is to be in compliance with the Centers of Medicare and Medicaid Services requirements, and per the Washington Governor’s Executive Order 20-01, the facility shall be designed to be net-zero energy.

Clark Construction is soliciting bids for the following scopes in accordance with RCW 39.10.380:

• Bid Package #24: Landscape/Site Furnishings - (Bid Package Estimate: $5,700,000)
• Bid Package #25: Asphalt Paving - (Bid Package Estimate: $1,100,000)
• Bid Package #26: Site Concrete - (Bid Package Estimate: $2,300,000)
• Bid Package #27: Site Fence/Gate - (Bid Package Estimate: $2,100,000)
• Bid Package #28: Pavement Striping/Site Parking Signage/Wheel Stops - (Bid Package Estimate: $160,000)
• Bid Package #29: Loading Dock Equipment - (Bid Package Estimate: $60,000)
• Bid Package #30: Flooring/Base/Polished Concrete - (Bid Package Estimate: $6,500,000)
• Bid Package #31: Tile - (Bid Package Estimate: $3,900,000)
• Bid Package #32: Specialties - (Bid Package Estimate: $5,900,000)
• Bid Package #33: Painting and Wall Covering - (Bid Package Estimate: $3,100,000)
• Bid Package #34: Code Signage - (Bid Package Estimate: $380,000)
• Bid Package #35: Furniture/Fixtures/Equipment (FFE) - (Bid Package Estimate: $500,000)
• Bid Package #36: Window Treatment - (Bid Package Estimate: $390,000)
• Bid Package #37: Building Automation Systems - (Bid Package Estimate: $7,700,000)
• Bid Package #38: Photo Voltaic (PV) – Rooftop – (Bid Package Estimate: $2,000,000)

Mandatory Pre-bid Meeting: 12/03/2024 10:00 AM

One mandatory pre-bid meeting will be conducted. Meeting is mandatory for all bid packages. Interested bidders will be considered non-responsive without attendance.
