NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that bids will be received by Whatcom County Administrative Services Finance/Purchasing at their office on the fifth floor of the Whatcom County Courthouse, 311 Grand Avenue Suite 503, Bellingham WA 98225 for the following:
Residential Structure Demolition at Hovander Homestead Park
Ferndale, Washington
UNTIL: 2:30 PM Tuesday, September 23, 2025
At which time and place the bids will be publicly opened (live/virtual via Zoom), and read aloud. All bidders and any other interested people are invited to be present at the live bid opening via Zoom, as more completely described herein. Late submittals will not be considered.
Whatcom County Parks & Recreation is requesting sealed bids for the demolition of the single-family residential structure at Hovander Homestead Park, located at 5305 Nielsen Road, Ferndale, WA 98248, also known as the Anderson Rental. The contractor will provide all materials and labor necessary to demolish the structure, legally dispose of all waste material, leave the site in a condition suitable for future development, and other work as further described in the bid documents.

Award will be made to the lowest qualified responsive / responsible bidder. Whatcom County reserves the right to reject any or all bids, and to waive any irregularities.
