Woodland South Pekin Road Overlay Project

INVITATION TO BIDCITY OF Woodland - South Pekin Road Overlay

Sealed proposals for furnishing all materials, labor and equipment for the following described work will be received by the City of Woodland Public Works Office at 236B Davidson Avenue, Woodland, Washington 98674 until Wednesday, July 10, 2024, at 10:00 a.m. At this time the sealed bids will be publicly opened and read. A contract will be awarded, or all bids rejected within 45 days after the bid opening. Bids received after the fixed time for opening cannot be considered. The City of Woodland will set their clock based on www.time.gov.

All bid proposals shall be accompanied by a bid proposal deposit in cash, certified check, cashier’s check, or surety bond in an amount equal to five percent (5%) of the amount of such bid proposal. Should the successful bidder fail to enter into such contract and furnish satisfactory performance bond within the time stated in the specifications, the bid proposal deposit shall be forfeited to the City of Woodland.

City of Woodland reserves the right to reject any and all bids and to waiver informalities in the bidding.

Prospective bidders can view specifications for free through the online plan center link at www.gibbs-olson.com. A full set of contract documents can be downloaded in PDF format through QUESTCDN for a required $22 non-refundable fee. Prospective bidders will need to join QUESTCDN to purchase and download the contract documents. Prospective bidders can locate and access the project directly from the QUESTCDN website with the seven-digit QUESTCDN project number 9188158. Bids will not be accepted from any prospective bidder who has not purchased contract documents through QUESTCDN. Bidders should contact QUESTCDN at (952) 233-1632 or info@questcdn.com if unable to join or access the documents online.

QUESTCDN is a web-based platform for construction project advertisements, bid documents distribution and plan holder lists. QUESTCDN offers several membership levels and a “REGULAR” membership is free.

The improvements for which bids will be received is described below:

This Contract provides for the improvements of South Pekin Road with the grind and overlay of approximately 2,350 linear feet of existing 40-foot-wide asphalt pavement from Davidson Avenue to approximately 330 linear feet south of Marty Loop. This includes striping and the replacement of two curb ramps at the intersection of South Pekin Road and Lake Avenue.
