The contractor will provide FAA certified technicians for the installation to retrofit the aircraft with required law enforcement equipment in a Washington State Patrol (WSP) Cessna T206 aircraft and obtain the required FAA approval for all installations. The contractor will provide Garmin certified technicians to perform alterations or modifications to the Garmin avionics equipment.

The contractor will equip a 2025 Cessna T206 aircraft with required law enforcement equipment for a Tactical Flight Officer station. The Tactical Flying Officer (TFO) is responsible for assisting the pilot in command by utilizing all the installed equipment to locate and apprehend dangerous drivers. The TFO operates the camera equipment including the Infrared camera, recording device, downlink equipment, tactical radio system, and laser range finder. The TFO also acts as another pair of eyes for the pilot and assists the pilot with locating other aircraft flying nearby.
