WWD2 WELL 3E BUILDING AND PIPING
Separate sealed Bids for the WELL 3E BUILDING AND PIPING will be received by the WHITWORTH WATER DISTRICT NO. 2 located at 17401 N. Newport Road, Mead, WA 99021, until 2:00 p.m. (Local Time), on Thursday December 11, 2025 and then at said office publicly opened and read aloud. All interested individuals are welcome to attend.
The project includes the following work:Base Bid: Project consists of the construction of an approximate 1100 square foot concrete masonry unit well building, associated mechanical and site piping and site work as described in the plans. Work shall include the supply and installation of an 800 HP lineshaft turbine pump and motor assembly. Electrical and Control work shall be by Others.

Hard copies of bidding documents can be ordered at www.welchcomerplanroom.com at the bidder’s expense. In order to be added to the official plan holders list and ensure notification of addenda, bidders must register at www.welchcomerplanroom.com. For further assistance, please call (208) 664-9382. Contract questions shall be directed only to the office of the Project Engineer.

Bid security: All bid proposals shall be accompanied by a bid proposal deposit in cash, certified check, cashier’s check, or surety bond in an amount equal to five percent (5%) of the amount of such bid proposal. Should the successful bidder fail to enter into such contract and furnish satisfactory performance bond within the time stated in the specifications, the bid proposal deposit shall be forfeited to the Owner.
Rejection of Bids: The right is reserved to reject any and all bids and to waiver informalities in the bidding.
Supplemental Bidder Criteria: Successful low bidder must meet the supplemental bidder criteria described in the bidding documents.

A Pre-bid Conference will be held on Tuesday December 2, 2025 at 10:00 a.m. at Whitworth Water District No. 2 office, 17401 N. Newport Road, Mead, WA 99021. A project site visit will follow. Attendance at the pre-bid conference is encouraged but not required.
