WRF UV EQUIPMENT PROCUREMENT

Sealed Proposals will be received by the undersigned at the City of Royal City, 445 Camelia Street NE, Royal City, Washington 99357, up to 11:00 a.m.; local time on Monday, May 14, 2018, for furnishing the necessary labor, materials, equipment, tools, and guarantees thereof for the WRF UV Equipment Procurement.

The work includes furnishing UV disinfection equipment and providing startup and testing services for the Royal City WRF.  Equipment includes reactors, power distribution equipment, control panels, and all other appurtenances required for a complete and workable disinfection system.

The Equipment shall be delivered to the project site within 180 calendar days from Notice to Proceed.  All bidding and Work to be performed in compliance with the Contract Provisions and Contract Plans for this project and any addenda issued thereto that are on file at the office of the City Clerk, City Hall, Royal City, Washington.

The Proposals will be publicly opened and read aloud at 11:00 a.m. (local time) on Monday, May 14, 2018.  Proposals are to be submitted only on the form provided with the Bid Documents.  All Proposals must be accompanied by a certified check, cashiers check, money order, or bid bond payable to the “City of Royal Cityand in an amount of not less than five percent (5%) of the total amount bid.

Bid Documents may be examined at the office of the City of Royal City, or the office of the Project Engineer, Gray & Osborne, Inc.  Bid Documents for this project are available free-of-charge at the following website:  “http://gobids.grayandosborne.com”.  Bidders are encouraged to “Register” in order to receive automatic email notification of future addenda and to be placed on the “Bidders List”.  For assistance, please call the Project Engineer, Keith Stewart, P.E. at (206) 284‑0860.  Contract questions shall be directed only to the office of the Project Engineer.

Financing of the Project has been provided by City of Royal City, Washington, the Washington State Department of Ecology, and the Washington State Community Development Block Grant program with federal funds provided by the U.S. Department of Housing & Urban Development. Neither the State of Washington nor any of its departments or employees are, or shall be, a party to any contract or any subcontract resulting from this solicitation for bids.

The City of Royal City expressly reserves the right to reject any or all Proposal and to waive minor irregularities or informalities and to Award the Project to the bidder whose proposal is in the best interest of the City.
