PRE-BID WALK-THROUGH: Will be held at the Central Utility Plant (CUP), 2836 Fireweed Road NW, Olympia, WA 98505, on August 23, 2018 at 2 PM.
SCOPE OF WORK: Window removal / demolition, asbestos abatement, infill openings with new concrete panels and related reinforcing in order to bring the facility up to code regarding structural seismic design.

The State of Washington prevailing wage rates are applicable for this public works project located in Thurston County. Bidders are responsible to verify and use the most recent prevailing wage rates. The “Effective Date” for this project is the Bid Proposal due date above. The applicable prevailing wage rates may be found on the Department of Labor and Industries website located at http://www.lni.wa.gov/TradesLicensing/PrevWage/WageRates/ A copy of the most current Prevailing Wage Rates can be viewed in the Owner’s offices or the Owner will email a copy of any applicable wage rates upon written request.
Voluntary workforce diversity goals for apprentice participation are identified in the Instructions to Bidders and Supplemental Conditions. Bidders may contact the Department of Labor & Industries, Apprenticeship Section, to obtain information on available apprenticeship programs.
Voluntary numerical MWBE goals of 10% MBE and 8% WBE have been established for this project. Achievement of the goals is encouraged. However no minimum level of MWBE participation shall be required as a condition of contract award. Bids will not be rejected or considered nonresponsive if they do not include MWBE participation.
