Walsh Construction Company II, LLC is requesting quotes from subcontractors and suppliers, including certified DBE and SBE firms, for the following:

Soliciting Quotes for the following:

The work includes building modifications in support of the installation of the new above ground Light Rail Vehicle (LRV) lift and turntable in the existing Link Operations and Maintenance Facility in Seattle, Washington.  Work shall include the selective demolition and modifications to the reinforced concrete slab and grade beams, rail components, rail modification and restoration, fabrication of Unistrut Frame and installation of the Macton supplied embedded plates and forms in preparation for installation of the lift.  Contractor is also responsible for prepour and as-built surveys to ensure proper placement of all conduits stub ups and anchorages/embeds required to install the new Macton Lift.  Work shall also include installation of electrical conduit, electric wiring, junction boxes, circuit breaker box, negative return cables and OCS modifications.

The project has a SBE goal of 27% and DBE goal of 0%.  Walsh Construction Company II, LLC intends to negotiate with all certified SBE and DBE firms to encourage project participation, including consideration of quotes for any item of work, portion of an item, or combination thereof.
