INVITATION TO BID

PORT OF KALAMA

NOTICE is hereby given that the PORT OF KALAMA (Port) will be receiving SEALED BIDS at the Port Office, 110 West Marine Drive, Kalama, Washington, 98625 until, February 21, 2019, 2:00 PM, for the Spencer Creek Business Park Phase 1 project.

The bids will then and there be publicly opened and read aloud. Any bids received after the published bid submittal time cannot be considered and will not be accepted by the Port.

Bid Packages containing plans, specifications, and detailed instructions to bidders may be obtained after January 31, 2019.  Bid Packages may be picked up at J2 Blue Print Supply Co., located at 8100 NE St. Johns Road, Suite B101, Vancouver, Washington, or online at http://www.j2b.com/bidset. Printed plans and specifications can be made available by the Project Engineer upon reimbursement of the cost of reproduction.

The work includes:

All labor, materials, tools, equipment, permits, testing, training, and supervision for the construction of the Spencer Creek Business Park Phase 1 project, including site preparation, grading, utilities, roads, roundabout, walks, storm drainage, lighting, landscaping, irrigation, and related improvements.

All contractors MUST comply with the prevailing wage and anti-discrimination laws of the State of Washington and pay all associated fees. The Port will comply with the statutory retainage requirements for public works contracts. The Port is an equal opportunity employer.

The scheduled date for the mandatory pre-bid meeting is February 8, 2:00 PM, at the Port of Kalama Office (110 West Marine Drive, Kalama, Washington 98625).
