Kiewit Infrastructure West Co.is seeking quotes from Small & Disadvantaged Business subcontractors, suppliers, and service providers in a variety of work scopes & disciplines to partner with Kiewit in support of our proposal to Skanska Constructors, for the L300 Lynwood Link Extension Bid Package 17 Trackwork

 

Sound Transit’s L300 Lynwood Link Extension GCCM Project Bid Package 17 includes:

 

  • 3.75 route miles double track guideway
    • 2.25 miles elevated (direct fixation)
    • 1.5 miles at grade- retained cut / fill (ballasted track)
  • 2 elevated stations – MLT &LCC
  • 1 ea direct fixation double crossover
  • 1 ea. ballasted double crossover

 

Subcontractor Work Scopes include but are not limited to:

 

 

  • Reinforcing Steel
  • Concrete: Furnish & Pumping  
  • Survey Work
  • Equipment Rental & Service
  • Trucking
  • Trackwork – Flash Butt Welding, Thermite Welding & Pedestrian Crossings
  • Track materials – rail, ties, fasteners
  • Earth to Ground Testing
  • Rail Weld Testing
  • SWPP – furnish and management
  • Crane Service
  • Quality Control/Quality Assurance

Kiewit Infrastructure West Co. is seeking quotes from Subcontractor and Supplier partners including Small Business (SBE’s) and Disadvantaged Business Enterprises (DBE’s) including Minority and Women owned firms, as certified by Washington State’s Office of Minority and Women Business Enterprises (OMWBE). Sound Transit has set DBE and SBE goals for both the Design and Construction phases of this project.
