Standpipe Reservoir Recoating Project

 

Separate sealed bids for the construction of the CITY OF RITZVILLE STANDPIPE RESERVOIR RECOATING PROJECT will be received by the City of Ritzville at the City Hall located at 216 E. Main, Ritzville, WA 99169, until 2:00 P.M., September 12, 2019 and publicly opened and read aloud at that time.

 

The work generally consists of recoating the interior and exterior of the City’s 1 million-gallon steel standpipe reservoir including removal of an existing interior coal tar coating.

 

The CONTRACT DOCUMENTS may be examined at the following locations:

Proposals must be submitted on the forms provided in the Contract Documents. A Bid Bond executed by licensed bonding company in the amount of five percent (5%) of the amount bid shall be made payable to the City of Ritzville. 100% performance and payment bonds will be required from the successful bidder.

 

A PREBID CONFERENCE is scheduled for 10 a.m. Thursday, September 5, 2019 at the City of Ritzville Standpipe site. The purpose of the conference is to familiarize bidders with existing exterior and interior reservoir conditions and answer questions.

 

This project is funded in part by a federal loan from the Department of Health, Public Works Board and Department of Commerce Drinking Water State Revolving Loan (DWSRF) program. All work performed on this project will be subject to the higher of the prevailing state and federal (Davis-Bacon) wage rates. The City of Ritzville reserves the right to reject any and all bids, to waive technicalities, and in its sole judgment, accept the bid which it deems is in its best interest. Additional bid acceptance and contract award provisions are specified in the Contract Documents.
