Project Description:
The Stahl Junior High Tenant Improvements, Phase 1 scope will occur at the existing school on the current Stahl Junior High School site in unincorporated Pierce County near Puyallup, Washington. The summary of the TI’s includes, but is not limited to, the int classrooms and stage south of the commons, the main entry vestibule north of the commons, and limited work in adjacent spaces including mech alternates and associated elec work. A base bid custodial addition will occur at the SE corner of the existing building. An alternate #2 commons addition is inc west of the existing commons. A base bid outdoor covered CTE/Art area and an outdoor kiln room addition occurs at the exterior wall of those classrooms. Existing and new building materials are CMU block, wood framing, ext veneer brick, painted aluminum soffit and fascia panels, asphalt shingle roofing, and translucent sandwich panel. Site improvements include demo of existing outdoor utilities assoc with portables removed by owner, prep of new work area, and installing permanent and temp walk surfaces for Phase 1.
Estimated Value: $4.45 million
Contract Duration: This is a MULTI-PHASED project!!
- NTP: on or about 4/21/2020
- Limited mob on-site: on or about 4/22/2020
- Phase 1A: April thru June 2020 (limited to exterior site work, establishment of contractor facilities, project submittals, and deferred submittals required to release the permit)
- Phase 1B: June thru September 2020 (the bulk of the project scope will occur during this phase including ext and int work)
- Phase 1C: September 2020 thru Final Completion (remaining punchlist work completion, ext site work for final completion, and project closeout)
**WA State L&I prevailing wage rates apply to this project**
