NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that sealed bids for the ENUMCLAW AQUATIC CENTER
RENOVATIONS project will be received at the City of Enumclaw at 1309 Myrtle Avenue, Enumclaw, Washington 98022 until 11:00 a.m. on Friday, June 12th, 2020. The scope includes repairs and upgrades to the existing pool area. Tasks include, but are not limited to concrete and deck repairs, deck refinishing, a replacement pool liner, replacement in-pool lights, (2) new accessible pool lifts, and a new aquatic climbing wall as identified in the construction documents This work may overlap in schedule with the Parking Lot Improvements. Improvements will take place in the Enumclaw Aquatic Center within the City of Enumclaw, WA. Construction start date is anticipated to be July 13th, 2020 and is subject to change pending Governor’s Covid-19 construction orders.
No Pre-Bid Conference is schedule for this project. However, access to review the site can be arranged and is encouraged with advance notice. The project site is located at 420 Semanski St S., Enumclaw, WA 98022. Due to Covid-19 precautions, you must bring your own PPE and follow the Governor’s guidelines for physical separation. No groups shall be allowed.
Bids must be accompanied by a certified check or bond, payable to the City of Enumclaw of not less than 5% of the total bid. Due to the Covid-19 pandemic the public bid opening will be held online. Contractors may go to https://www.cityofenumclaw.net/248/Live-Stream to view the bid opening live. Bid results will also be posted on the Builders Exchange website shortly after bid opening.
Free-of-charge access to project bid documents (plans, specifications, addenda, and Bidders List) is provided to Prime Bidders, Subcontractors, and Vendors by going to www.bxwa.com and clicking on “Posted Projects”, “Public Works”, and “City of Enumclaw”. Bidders must “Register” in order to receive automatic e-mail notification of future addenda and to place themselves on the “Self- Registered Bidders List”. Bidders that do not register will not be automatically notified of addenda. Please contact Builders Exchange of Washington at 425-258-1303 for assistance with access or registration.
