FHWA has established suggested participation goals for this Contract in the amount of:

Project Description: Project consists of constructing bank stabilization and bridge and culvert improvements in six locations along the Upper Hoh River Road (UHRR). Located in western Jefferson County between U.S. Highway 101 (US 101) and the Hoh Rain Forest Visitor Center, the UHRR provides access to the Olympic National Park (ONP) and private properties along the road. The road was built in the 1930s, when ONP was established, and is the primary western access to the park. The project includes 29ea major bank stabilization features with logs, vegetation and precast concrete dolos, two single span bridges, one precast culvert crossing, and 1.5 miles of roadway rebuild including associated clearing, traffic control, excavation, and base and asphalt paving.

 

Subcontract/Supplier Opportunities Include (But Not Limited to): In-Water work, slope stabilization, precast concrete supply, rebar installation, pumped creek diversion, clearing and grubbing, traffic control, paving, pavement markings, ready-mix concrete supply, piling installation, earthwork, trucking/hauling, temporary office facilities.
